The 2002 race start - 1300 15th
june.
Welcome to the online reports for
the 2002 Three Peaks Yacht Race. The reporting team of Rob Howard
and myself (David Lynch, Bluedome's editor.) tracked the race
from the start line at Barmouth to the finish line at Corpach
taking in Caernarfon, Whitehaven, Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis
along the way.
The 2002 race saw a brave finish
from Geoff West as he skippered the final sailing leg from Whitehaven
to Fort William in severe weather conditions. The words and pictures
will give you an insight into this great adventure race we hope
you enjoy the story of the race.
