With all runners and crew rowing approaching Plas Menai, Skipper Geoff West took a gamble to save some rowing - it didn't pay off and they ran hard aground. Despite Eamonn's acrobatics and an attempt to tie a line round a nearby navigation post and winch themselves clear (see the dinghy below), they were stuck fast. Not only stuck fast but on camera! Now they must wait for high tide to refloat, knowing many of the other smaller yachts will sail past them during Sunday morning. The its a race to catch up.
