Walking on the Isles of Scilly
For a change the accommodation on this trip was luxurious. We normally use small Bed and Breakfast places or camp where we can so staying at St Mary’s Hall Hotel was a real treat. The hotel is in a house built by an Italian nobleman who married a girl from the Isles and decided to live there.
The rooms are very comfortable and extremely well furnished, the beds are superb and the power-shower was a welcome treat after walking all day.
St Mary’s Hall Hotel sends its guests off with a good breakfast and welcomes you back with great food in the new restaurant. Local seafood and fish are always on the menu as is a range of dishes to suit everyone who enjoys good food.
St Mary’s Hall Hotel offers a series of breaks for walkers which include travel to St Mary’s and also covers your island hopping needs too. If you are planning a visit then click on the banner on this page and have a look at the deals available.
Across the Isle of Scilly you will find every type of accommodation from small campsites to luxury hotels. There are four camping locations, one on St Mary’s, another on St Agnes, one on Bryher and finally the last one on St Martins.
There is a lot of self catering accommodation and there are some lovely B+B’s to try. There are prices ti suit all pockets so you should be able to find something ideal for you. If you can’t find anything on the internet search engines then contact the islands tourist board, you will find a link on the contacts page.
