Duke of Edinburgh Award Leaders

BXM Expeditions are seeking new instructors for the 2020 expedition season. We are based in Swindon, but run expeditions all over the country.

All of our expeditions are The Duke Of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions. You'll be working (Freelance) as part of the BXM instructor team supervising and assessing (if accredited) young people taking part in their expeditions.
There are no specific qualifications required. Just a love for the outdoors, working with young people, the ability to read a map (OS maps 1:25) and lead groups of 5-12 with confidence both independently and in a small team.

Applicants will be prioritised based on how many dates they are able to work for us. We ask for a minimum of 5 weekends between the months of March - July.

For successful applicants, we will be running some training days in January to ensure you are fully prepared for the expedition season. You must be able to attend one of the following - 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th January 2020
