Team Building Event Manager / Instructor

Established in 1990, KDM Events deliver a vast range of events for our corporate clients across the country - from indoor and outdoor Team-Building, to themed party evenings, quiz nights, conference management & AV equipment.

Due to increased demand we are seeking to add to our events team, who travel from our Trentham base around the country to physically deliver our events - working as both event crew and also leading as event manager depending on the specific event.

On any given day you may be teaching Bush Craft skills, dressing & theming a room to create a Hollywood theme, running a Games Show or instructing in the arts of Sniper Rifle Shooting!

You will be working with a wide range of corporate clients, with the work being interesting, enjoyable and varied. Responsibility, enthusiasm and the ability to interact and communicate well, whilst working both by yourself and as a member of a close-knit team are essential.

Experience working in outdoor events is a distinct advantage!

KDM is a seven-day operation and unpredictable hours, early starts and late finishes are the norm - with long hours spent in our vans with the team, travelling to & from events.

The job will not appeal to anyone who wishes to work 9am to 5pm, however weekend work is quite infrequent with the vast majority of our events running Monday to Friday.

We are seeking to recruit for a permanent and full-time position, however we also have a continual call for freelance event crew as well.

To be successful as an Event Manager you will need to be comfortable with technology, over the age of 21 ideally and must have a full Driving Licence as driving to & from events in our vans is a major aspect of the job.

You will be paid at a competitive hourly rate, which increases with experience and with overtime payable for long days - an annual salary of £21,000 to £25,000 can be expected.

To apply for this position please email your CV to Brad Davies - and include a couple of lines explaining why this role is of interest, and why you think you would be suited to the position.
