Senior Activity Instructor/Team Leader

Summary of Job:

You will support the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operation of the centre to provide our guests with a safe, fun, high quality experience.
You will be able to build activity programmes, lead a small team of Activity Staff, complete staff rotas and support the Programme Coordinator with planning major activity based events.
Your role will include setting up and maintaining an equipment data base to ensure all safety checks are in place.
You will provide activity instruction and maintain the activity equipment and infrastructure. You will assist with some other duties including some housekeeping and equipment maintenance.

About you:
You must be 18 years or older
You preferably should have worked in the outdoor sector for at least 2 years, previous leadership skills are desirable. You will have the ability to work with children and adults alike, have a ‘can do’ attitude and the willingness to pitch in with the day to day running of the site. You should have experience with working with young people, be an enthusiastic team player and be willing to undertake a DBS check. You must be highly organised and able to create and maintain relevant activity records.

Ideally you should have two or more of the following:
Archery GB instructor award or GNAS Qualification
ERCA ,High Ropes Instructor or minimum requirement of scout climbing permit/guide lvl 1/CWA or higher
BCU UKCC Level 1 Coach
