Do you love adventure and people? At Rock UK, we are a Christian organisation that is passionate about developing young people, bringing adventure into learning in the outdoors, to transform lives. Are you a highly experienced activity professional with a desire to live out your faith working for a Christian charity serving guests of all faiths and none?

Rock UK’s Summit Centre based in South Wales is looking to expand its team of instructors following a £4 million redevelopment project. With brand new 100 bed residential accommodation and activities opening in June 2018 the new Head of Activities and Leisure will build and lead the instructor team through significant change and will be instrumental in setting up the systems of work and developing the new activities.

The Head of Activities and Leisure will oversee the indoor climbing wall, on-site and off-site adventurous activities and community gym within the context of Rock UK’s charitable aims and Christian ethos. As a key member of the Centre Leadership Team, the Head of Activities and Leisure will be able to clearly and respectfully communicate our Christian ethos, mission and vision to staff and guests of all faiths and none.

The successful applicant will have qualifications including ML, SPA, UKCC L2 paddle sport with 4* or Moderate Water Endorsement (E) Local Cave Leader, MIA, 5* Canoe/Kayak (D)

This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant is a practising Christian.
