Lead Instructor (Watersports) X2

We are seeking two Lead Instructors to join our growing team. Working under the direction of the Activities Manager, Lead Instructors will be responsible for the delivery of high quality water sports sessions to a variety of groups and individuals. Lead Instructors will work alongside casual and volunteer instructors to deliver sessions.

The role is a seasonal position and will require you to work between 18-40 hours per week, depending on the amount of bookings at the centre. Work will include evenings and weekends and you will be expected to work up to 5 days out of 7 each week. You will be expected to be part of a weekend Duty Manager pool.

As a guideline only, you can expect to work the following hours:
April - Mid June = 20 hours per week
Mid June - Mid July = 30 - 35 hours per week
Mid July - 31st August = 35-40 hours per week

* RYA Powerboat Level 2 (or the willingness to undertake it as soon as possible after employmen)
* Hold a current First Aid Certificate
* Hold a current DBS certificate or be on the update service
* At least one of the following qualifications: - RYA Dinghy Sailing Instructor (Preferably Senior Instructor or happy to work towards) - UKCC Level 1 Coach in Canoeing/Kayaking - British Rowing Session Coach (or UKCC Level 2 Rowing Coach) - SUP Level 1
* In addition to the above, at least one of the following: - A second of the qualifications listed above - Experience delivering Raft Building o Bellboat Helm - RYA Powerboat Instructor - British Rowing Explore Assistant Coach
