They manage our activities, equipment, and timetables, help coordinate our day to day operations and generally keep the cogs turning in the right direction! Working in one of the country’s most inspirational locations this is an opportunity to join the Scout Adventures team at Great Tower, working with the Centre Manager and one other lead instructor you’ll make sure our team are prepared, and manged to deliver life changing adventures to young people – as well as occasionally putting your own skills into use on the water or mountain.
We’re looking someone who is as passionate as we are about getting young people outdoors to have an adventure. You’ll be well organised and care about getting the details right. With previous experience of working in an AALA/LOTC licensed centre you’ll have the skills to keep a busy centre moving including the technical skills to train and work in the real outdoors including two of SPA, ML(S), UKCC L1, LCMLA, RYA DI/SI, or similar. You’ll be a natural leader willing to go the extra mile to give each of our volunteers, instructors and customers the support they need to make their adventures happen.
