Bryanston School was established in 1928 and is one of the country?s leading co-educational independent boarding schools. It is situated in a 400 acre estate in the midst of the Dorset countryside.

Following a successful review of Outdoor Activities over the past year, we are now seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to develop the Outdoor Education provision at Bryanston.

The primary focus will be on delivery and administration of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, the co-ordination of the school?s Adventure Education Programme and the promotion of Outdoor Activities within the school..

It is expected that the successful candidate will -

  • Have at least five years experience of Outdoor Education
  • Have a thorough understanding of the requirements and workings of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, ideally having run the scheme or similar programmes in the past.
  • Be an experienced planner with the ability to work autonomously
  • Possess a minimum of ML Summer.
  • SPA and other outdoor qualifications an advantage.
  • Have strong administrative skills, with good attention to detail and a natural ability to think logically and sequentially.
