Outdoor Education Instructor Apprenticeship Scheme at YMCA National Centre, Lakeside in conjunction with Kendal College
Set in a stunning location on the shores of Windermere, Lakeside is one of the country’s leading outdoor education centres. We specialise in the delivery of developmental activity programmes to a diverse range of clientele.
Do you have a passion/desire to work in the outdoors, to train in the delivery of programmes and supporting services for high quality adventurous activities and outdoor education courses. Through this programme and your commitment/personal time you could gain National Apprenticeship at Level 2, NGB Training/s and/ or Assessment/s along with 10 months of delivery/centre operational experience.
The majority of our 2009-10 apprentices have gained fully paid employment in this industry as a result of their achievement on our apprenticeship programme.
