To be an outdoor specialist, providing outdoor instruction, safety cover, and an excellent level of service to the outdoor elements of Brathay's personal development programmes
To clean and repair equipment after activities
To inspect and maintain equipment
To adhere to Brathay's Health & Safety Policy
To assist with the efficient and effective running of the kit store and associated storage areas
To liaise with the Course Director in preparation for program delivery
To assist with the training of other staff and Associate workers
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
Previous experience as a technician/outdoor instructor, working with a wide range of clients
Experience of providing excellent customer service
Current driving licence: Full, PCV D1 or D1+E
For vehicle insurance purposes, you should be at least 23 years of age and have held a full, driving licence for at least two years, with two years driving experience
Current First Aid qualification (minimum 16 hour course)
Mountain Walking Award (Summer)
SPA or SPSA
BCU level 2 canoe or UKCC equivalent
RYA Powerboat level 2
