Description: Lead Tutor
SOEC is delivering and developing programmes which support and engage with key educational initiatives in the education system.
To help drive this process forward we are looking for dynamic, highly motivated and experienced individuals who can deliver exemplars of outdoor learning for a range of programme outcomes. These programmes include personal and social education, health education, sustainability education, eco-literacy and others. They will work alongside our Programme Leader and Centre Manager to plan, deliver and support Tutor staff in their development and delivery of residential programmes.
The Lead Tutor will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of tutors to provide quality outdoor learning experiences and work towards ensuring the delivery of high quality outdoor learning experiences.
Applicants must have previous outdoor learning experience and preferably experience of managing a team. The position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Scotland check.
Salary depends on qualifications and experience but it is expected that salary will be in the regionf of £12,925 - £16,500 per annum gross. Start date will be as soon as possible.
