General Manager

Marsh Farm Country Park is an important, well established 25 year old visitor attraction in Essex. It attracts 130,000 customers per year, providing a leisure and education experience around farming, livestock , wildlife and family activities to all.

Essex County Council is driving forward an exciting and challenging development programme to change the face of its Country Park Service providing excellent customer service and a focus on commercial viability. Marsh Farm is phase one of this commercial strategy with the aim of transforming this site into one of the best farm park attractions in the country.

As General Manager you will lead this change, both in infrastructure, operations, community engagement and resourcing, whilst retaining customer focus and of course profitability.
You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to effect change and meet key performance targets. You will be energetic, highly motivated, have commercial experience and be willing to act as ambassador for Essex at both regional and national level.
