Contract
30 hour post 14th April -30th September
20 hour post 14th April - 1st September
30 hour post - £7.10/hour exclusive of Holiday Pay - equivalent of £8.00/hour
20 hour post - £6.18/hour exclusive of Holiday Pay - equivalent of £7.00/hour
Hours per week - These hours will be averaged over total contract time. All applications will be considered for both posts unless the applicant specifies otherwise. Some evening and weekend work is required.
Key areas of work - The majority of the time will be spent running Kayak sessions for schools, school clubs and public courses. Basic administration and maintenance as required.
Qualifications required :
Minimum of BCU UKCC Level 1 coach
Desirable but not essential:
BCU Level 2 Coach or UKCC Level 2 Coach
SPA
Other climbing qualification e.g. Climbing wall supervisor
D1 + E on driving licence
RYA Instructor
RYA powerboat level 2
The successful applicants will need to be reliable, trustworthy, self motivated and flexible. They should have the ability to work within a team but also as a stand alone member of staff.
