Watersports Instructor Vacancies

South West Lakes Trust operates five Outdoor + Active RYA training centres throughout the South West providing facilities for dinghy sailing, windsurfing and kayaking.

For the 2010 season we are inviting applications for Chief Instructor, Assistant Chief Instructors and multi-disciplined instructors to run and promote efficient, profitable Centres and to co-ordinate hire, launch and tuition of courses. Casual instructors are required throughout the season to assist in the organisation and running of watersports sessions.

All applicants must possess recognised NGB Instructor Certificates and salaries are fixed according to qualifications.

Applicants should be enthusiastic and self motivated with the ability to teach and communicate with customers at all levels and be a good team worker.

Administrative Positions

Activities Co-ordinator
– Wimbleball. Working as part of the team at our Outdoor + Active Centre, assisting the Area Manager with business development and to promote an efficient, profitable Centre, dealing with the general public, taking bookings and general administrative duties.

Outdoor + Active Centre Receptionists – Roadford Lake and Siblyback Lake. Working as part of the team at our Outdoor + Active Centres, assisting the Area Managers to promote efficient, profitable Centres, co-ordinating hire and dealing with the general public, making sales, taking bookings, general administrative and site duties.

The above administrative positions require good organisational and communication skills, plus experience of working in a busy office answering telephones.

Our season is usually April - October.
