We are are looking for a versatile and competant individual with at least BCU level 2 Kayak Coach Award and Single Pitch Award. Qualifications/experience in hillwalking, dinghy sailing, off-road cycling, archery and swift water rescue would be an advantage.
The Scaladale Centre is situated in the mountains of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The centre provides accommodation and activities for a range of clients such as schools and youth groups, and some adult groups.
The main duties are to set up equipment, instruct and lead groups as
appropriate and to assist with buildings, grounds and equipment maintenance.
This position is subject to an enhanced criminal records check through Disclosure Scotland. Accommodation is available on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS
BCU Level 2 Kayak Coach and Single Pitch Award. A clean driving licence and a valid First Aid Certificate are required
