Job Description Summary
Southampton City Council’s Sport and Recreation Services have an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of the team that rises to the challenge of delivering the continuing development of Woodmill Outdoor Activity Centre. We are looking for strong, dynamic and motivated individuals that will help to plan deliver and administer a range of sessions and courses to a wide customer base.

We want you to be part of the team that will enable the residents of Southampton and beyond to access and enjoy the Outdoor experience.

We’ll look to you to deliver a range of water and land-based programmes for Schools, Colleges and brochure courses.

This will include instructional work, presentations and course planning to supervise and guide junior staff, you’ll be fully involved in the practical functions of the centre. You’ll also work closely with a range of learners including both young people and adults and ensure the pastoral care of junior and youth groups.

You will have experience of working in outdoor education and be qualified to BCU Level Three Coach in one discipline and hold a MLTB Single Pitch Award.
