An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as an Activity Instructor for The Scout Association, based at one of our five Centres across the UK. (See www.scouts.org.uk/sac for information about our centres)
There are 10 vacant posts. 9 x 9 months fixed term contract and 1 x 8 months fixed term contract. As a member of the Scout Activity Centres team you will be working in small teams alongside our international and local volunteer staff to ensure our broad range of guests, which includes Scout, Youth, School and Corporate groups, get the best out of their day or residential experience.
All staff will go through our comprehensive induction and basic training. In addition there are normally a number of opportunities to gain experience and training in additional activities as well as personal skills development (dependant on location).
QUALIFICATIONS
We offer a broad range of activities across our centres including High Ropes, Climbing, Abseiling, Canoeing, kayaking, Sailing and Archery. Skills or qualifications in some of these activities are desirable but not essential.
