Description: Surfing/Activity Instructor
PGL Beam House is ideally located just a short drive away from some of the UK’s finest surfing beaches: great for introducing our guests to surfing and for hitting the waves on days off and in the evenings.
For over 50 years, PGL has been providing residential activity holidays for children and needs dedicated and enthusiastic staff members to keep our guests having the time of their lives.
We're looking for Surfing Instructors to teach and inspire our enthusiastic young guests to make sure they get the most from their experience.
Ideally you will hold your British Surf Association (BSA) Level 1 award.
We are also keen to hear from you if you are an accomplished surfer yet do not currently hold any instructor qualifications as we offer a full programme of BSA training and assessment opportunities. Contact Charlie in the Recruitment Team to find out more info.
As a PGL Surfing Instructor, you will also have the opportunity to be trained and assessed to deliver our core multi-activity sessions when you are not on surfing duty. These include abseiling, ropes courses, quad biking, archery and more.
This is a fun and rewarding job that gives you the chance to work outside and turn your hobby into job. Many of the staff working in other roles at the centre also go surfing during their free time.
