Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre is now recruiting additional instructors to compliment its already, dynamic professional full-time team.
Applicants should be motivated and dynamic outdoor educators who are passionate about delivering outdoor adventure training to all ages and ability levels within Devon.
Applicants for paid seasonal employment should hold at least 2 N.G.B awards and be keen and motivated towards both personal development and the development of the individuals with which they work.
The Centre is renowned for the high quality of staff it trains, employs and develops. The Centre recruits a seasonal staff team each year to cater for the busy and varied activity program it offers.
Staff will work on a wide-ranging program of activities throughout the season, working at various levels within their qualification remit and with all age groups, which obviously includes adults, as well as young people.
The Centre prides itself on having a social and fun loving team who thrive on teamwork which ensures the Centre operates effectively and efficiently.
Haven Banks has a continued commitment towards every aspect of Outdoor and adventurous activities delivery, as well as ensuring its staff are fully trained, qualified and experienced to deliver these activities.
Several training opportunities will be available during the season to improve skill levels and gain further National Governing Body Qualifications as well as weekend staff training trips both in and out of County.
Positions hold an initial contracted time of May – September. though extensions commonly offer contracts from April – November
Salary range: From £205 - £270 per week (paid monthly), depending on qualifications & level of experience &responsibility
