Skill Force is a registered charity with 40 teams accross England, Scotland and Wales. We deliver proven alternative curriculum programmes to young peopleaccross the country, initiating interest and aspiring achievement.

The Islington team are currently seeking an instructor to deliver a wide range of qualifications and awards to young people in the Islington area.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to work independently, and to high standards, in a challenging and rapidly changing environment. You will be expected to professionally deliver a range of qualifications to a diverse client group and should have experience in planning and administering the successful delivery of new programmes. Successful applicants will have a relevant qualification or experience in teaching, instructing or training and hold Level 2 qualifications in mathematics and English.

You will have highly effective communication and relationship building skills as well as experience of effectively instructing and motivating young people. Recognised outdoor education qualifications are desirable (but not essential) as is a desire to work with and support the development of young people.

Applicants should hold a clean driving licence, preferably with the ability to drive mini buses (D1) and be prepared to undertake ongoing professional development as required. All successful applicants will be subject to Criminal Records Bureau checks to enhanced level. A team visit is highly desirable prior to the assessment centre.
