Assistant Facilities Officer - Ref. PD50143624 Scale 6 £21,412 - £22,845 (Subject to Job Evaluation) (All inclusive of weekend working) 37 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 including one day of the weekend.

This is an important role within the Harbour Authority's Water Activity Centres management structure. You will assist the Leisure Facilities Officers in the effective management and operation of the Water Activity Centre. You will be highly motivated with experience of managing water activities and also hold coaching qualifications in the outdoor water sport arena; one coaching qualification should be at a senior level in canoeing or rowing. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with customers at all levels and ages.

Due to the nature of this post a satisfactory enhanced CRB will be required.
