8th Norwich Sea Scout Group - Two Half-Time Scouting Appointments

The 8th Norwich (Norwich School) Sea Scout Group is inviting applications for two half time posts, each offering salaries of at least £12,000. The Group would also consider appointing one person to do both jobs should someone with the combined skills apply.

Group Scout Leader or Group Administrator
A person with a strong Scouting background could be appointed from the start as GSL, but we are broadening our search to include the possible appointment of a Group Administrator as an alternative.

Scout Leader
There are two mixed Sea Scout Troops each with over 90 members. As well as the weekly meetings there are activities over most weekends of term-time, and several residential events in holiday time encompassing boating, hill walking and camping.

Experience of Scouting and the holding of NGB qualifications in some of the activities would obviously be seen as strong advantages.
