Want to gain experience and get paid to drive a motor launch? Live and work onboard our ship, permanently moored in the stunning Salcombe Estuary. Our floating base provides the perfect setting for our sailing school and multi-activity centre.

This role involves ferrying passengers between our ship, Egremont, and the shore in a safe, courteous and efficient manner - you are the first and last member of staff that guests see so a cheerful, customer focused approach is essential.

The Launch coxswain is also responsible for transporting supplies, such as food and fuel, to and from the ship, assisting with maintenance duties and with the dinghy hire operation.

A professional but friendly approach, smart appearance and vigilant attitude are essential at all times. Flexibility and adaptability are important assets due to the unique environment. Displacement boat driving experience is preferable but training is available for suitable candidates.
