Nottinghamshire County Council Children and Young People's Services - April 2008-September 2008

Nottinghamshire County Council's Youth Service require qualified outdoor education instructors who are committed to working with young people and disabilities groups. You will need to have knowledge of issues affecting young people, bring a range of approaches to complement our existing staff team and be willing to work flexibly as part of a small team.

ADVENTURE require enthusiastic, qualified instructors who take adventure sports seriously but who can make adventure sessions an enjoyable, positive experience for participants. We require individuals who hold one or more of the following:

• RYA Dinghy Instructors
• BCU Level 2 Coach
• BCU Raft Guide level 1
• MLTB SPA assessed

Our bases are located at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham; The Mill, Sutton in Ashfield; Sandhill Lake, Worksop and we also offer a range of off-site activities in Derbyshire and further afield.
