Girlguiding UK is the largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the UK. We are currently recruiting for Activity Instructors for the 2008 season to work in any one of our three Training and Activities Centres.

We are looking for motivated, dynamic individuals who are outgoing, adventurous and great with kids. We begin taking on seasonal Activity Instructors in April with most working until September or October.

Pay Rates
Assistant Activity Instructors - £5.80 per hour
Activity Instructors – £7.03 per hour
We provide excellent training opportunities, flexible contracts, work placements and the opportunity to participate in an exciting, challenging and highly rewarding environment.

Locations
Blackland Farm is set in the lovely West Sussex Countryside. The site holds a licence from the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) and provides a variety of activities including abseiling, canoeing, archery, rock climbing and crate challenge.

Foxlease is set in the heart of the New Forest and is approved by the British Canoe Union to run sessions under BCU guidelines. Activities at Foxlease include abseiling, canoeing, archery, low ropes, swimming and rafting.

Waddow Hall is set in 178 acres of Lancashire countryside overlooking the River Ribble, the site holds a licence from the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). Activities at Waddow include climbing and abseiling on a natural crag, canoeing and kayaking on the river, low ropes course, archery, night line and rafting.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold at least one of the following - BCU Level 2, SPA or GNAS Leader Award, APIOL preferred.
