Description: PAID Trainee Instructor Positions - MODERN APPRENTICESHIPS
The Modern Apprentice Scheme enables trainees to gain National Governing Body Qualifications, as well as N.V.Q’s and key skills whilst being in paid full time employment.
Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre started running the Modern Apprentice Scheme three years ago. All trainees at interview are given an individually agreed action plan. This plan is based upon the trainees present skill level coupled with the amount of skill training they will receive. These two enable us to give trainees a realistic and advanced target for the scheme. On average over 80% of trainees achieve their advanced as well as their realistic targets. You can therefore be assured that we deliver what we promise.
The number of positions available on each scheme is limited to a maximum of three trainees. To ensure and hopefully secure a position, candidates should apply as early as possible.
Duration: 12-16 Months
Responsibilities: Professional Training and experience working alongside the centres qualified staff to deliver a varied program of adventurous activities to all ages and ability levels. Upon gaining National Governing Body Coaching Qualifications Modern Apprentices will be monitored delivering activities themselves.
