Advanced Leader training course
Previously called 'Level Three Leader Award', the Advanced Leader deals with taking mountain bikers into the very best terrain the UK has to offer - mountainous and remote regions. Using the very best riding of the high Cumbrian fells, this four day course takes existing Technical Leaders (or equivalent) onto a higher plane. It has been described as 'the best course I've ever come across', and without a doubt the depth of knowledge it contains holds something for everyone.

For more details, click on the 'Leader Awards' link of www.mountainbikecourses.com and go to the 'Advanced Leader Award' section.

Skill Instructor Award
Three open Skill Instructor (SI) courses have been set up in the heart of the country to enable Leaders to further develop their teaching and instructing skills. The SI course deals with everything from how people learn through to facilitating personal riding development and offering the Skill Awards to your groups. We reckon it's the perfect compliment to your Leader Award.

See the 'Skill Awards' section of www.mountainbikecourses.com for information on the Skill Awards and the Skill Instructor qualification.
