Cornwall Outdoors - Porthpean Centre
Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre is situated just outside of St Austell and enjoys spectacular views over St Austell Bay and easy access to the sea and local countryside. This is more than just a summer camp, it is a Centre of excellence for outdoor and adventurous activities. Open all year round, providing an excellent outdoor and adventurous activity service both onsite and across Cornwall.
Village A - Camping Pods

Villages B, C, D & E - Tented Villages with Camping pods for leaders
Set out as tented villages comprising six six-person large canvas tents with floorboards and mattresses. Each village has the latest luxury camping pods for the group leaders. The tented villages accommodate a maximum of 36 pupils and 3 leaders.
Other buildings on the site
The camps are supported by a range of permanent buildings including a centrally heated dining hall, staff lounge, toilet and shower blocks, and drying room.
The Centre has its own onsite indoor climbing wall, artificial caving system and outdoor high ropes course. Most activities take place within easy walking distance of the Centre. In the summer months the Porthpean Centre transforms yet again into a buzzing camp for activity seeking groups where staff provide hands on outward bound educational activities.
