There some spaces left on our spring SRA raft guide training course. The course is run over six days and is primarily practical with experience being gained out on the river. There are also evening seminars to advance your knowledge of important relevant areas.
Two of the days will be concerned with white water safety and rescue. The other days will be learning raft guiding skills and river reading. The final afternoon will be taken up with reviews. At the end of the course you will be awarded with a qualification which will range from a trainee raft guide upwards depending on your performance and previous experience.
The course starts at 6:30pm on the first evening.
We provide breakfast, lunch and evening meals each day, except for the first and the last evenings. If you bring a flask, we will give you soup at lunchtimes, please let us know when you arrive.
