Managing change in the work place, The Mind Gym: wake up your mind, The Mind Gym: give me time, How to work with and motivate different personalities.

About The Mind Gym
The Mind Gym was born in 2000, with the aim of providing a beacon in the forest of psychology and personal development by making the former accessible and the latter rigorous.

The mind Gym delivers 90-minutes workouts, in a range of subjects from: Creativity for logical thinkers, Confidence, Stress busters, Tricky people.

The workouts are run in organizations across Europe, US and London Business School to Virgin, Microsoft.

Their sessions are packed with stories, exercises, scientific research and practical advice, which tend to leave people excited, motivated and wiser.
Our minds tend to work in autopilot. Like the foreigner who keeps repeating the same words only louder each time the local doesn’t understand, we carry on thinking and approaching business challenges in much the same way even when it isn’t getting us what we want.
The solution is to spot and change our mental default settings. Sessions around the campfire will show us how to.

As a result we will be more likely to:
Come up with solutions to what seemed like intractable problems
Spot new opportunities jut by thinking differently
Gain energy and have less negative stress
Achieve more in less time
Win people round to our point of view
Feel in charge of our destiny
“If every business leader in the UK applied The Mind Gym techniques, the UK productivity gap would disappear in a moment”, Tim Melville-Ross, CBE, Chairman of Investors in People, Former Director General of Institute of Directors

“After The Feast” Speakers and workshops
Choose from a list of inspirational “green” speakers and environmentalists, e.g. representatives from Oxfam, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, Fair Trade Foundation, Soil Association, to speak around the campfire. Topics can be seriously green:
• Cannibalizing your vehicle in an emergency
• Making your own biodiesel
• Renewable energy systems
• Living “off the grid” by using solar heating, water power etc
• Building with green materials, straw, cob walling - echo houses
• Sustainable development
• Recycling and energy action grants
• Organic gardening and composting - humour, fun and food
• the power of alternative therapies
Storytelling and musicians
Or you can just enjoy stories, told by David Ambrose www.beyondtheborder.com and Chris Salisbury www.wildwise.co.uk and other famous storytellers, as you listen to musicians play a variety of instruments around the campfire.

Endorsements from some of our clients:
BP Corporate Team Management
A team of European executives from BP joined us for three days of bushcrafting, camping and walking on the Gower Wilderness this August. They toured the Gower Coast by boat, explored the sand dunes along Llangennith/Rhosilli beach, spent a day food foraging and learned various wilderness survival techniques such as; shelter building, fire lighting and trapping skills, before preparing a delicious bushcraft feast around a camp fire in the woods.
Incorporated into their event was a visit from Justyn, a consultant from Mind Gym based in London, to run two group sessions around change management and influencing techniques which were entertaining and inspirational.

Simon Kaye from BP, thought that the group had got a great deal out of their time spent in the Gower Wilderness. He said: "Getting away from the office and having the opportunity to try something completely different like this brought us very much closer as a team. The location was spectacular, the activities stimulating and the organisation by, and communication with, Patricia at Internet Outdoors, faultless. As a relatively inexpensive way to bring your team together and experience something a little out of the ordinary, I would say this is hard to beat."

Clay Shaw Thomas Accountants Team Building Day
“OK,it was raining - and we are a firm of Accountants and Tax Advisors who are used to our office comforts – we would have preferred some sunshine! But, despite this, our group had a wonderful day thanks to the enthusiastic and friendly team at Internet Outdoors and we were provided with a gentle and tentative insight into the experience of Bushcrafting. Thank you Trisha, Andy and Team - We had a great Team Building day.” Gretchen Betts - Clay Shaw Thomas
