Description:
The Foundation Degree in Adventure Education offers those already working in the adventure industy an opportunity to acquire a range of academic theories and models that underpin the practical aspects of adventure education.

Successful completion of the Foundation Degree in Adventure Education may allow, subject to the completion of a bridging course, entry onto the third year of an appropriate degree.

Whilst in the workplace you will experience a variety of learning techniques, including work-related observations, essays, seminars, tutorials, residential experiences and distance learning.

Indicative Course Content
Over the two years of the Foundation Degree, you will be introduced to the adventure environment in a number of core areas. The focus of your learning will be ‘theory -based practice’.

Level 3 – BA (Hons) Adventure Education
You will complete a substantial Individual Project as well as extending your academic knowledge in a wide range of Adventure Education modules.
