Longtown Outdoor Education Centre is a fully equipped residential centre. The centre's brand new accommodation block has extended our capacity to upto 40 people. It has excellent on-site facilities set in 15 acres of private grounds and is located in Herefordshire between the eastern edge of the Black Mountains and the River Monnow. Within the grounds there is a canoe training pool, an abseil tower, a zip wire, a ropes course, climbing walls, navigation courses and problem solving exercises. The Brecon Beacons, the Wye Valley, the Forest of Dean and South Wales are all within easy reach.

The Centre has a qualified and experienced staff team who offer challenging but safe outdoor and adventurous activities for groups of young people and adults.

Every course is tailored to your specific requirements and is individually planned to produce the very best from your group.

Specific courses can be arranged for; Duke of Edinburgh, ASDAN, GCSE / A Level PE / Biology / Geography, AVCE and National Diploma Courses.

The centre has a classroom with a networked IT suite, which can be used for field studies and review work.

Digital cameras will be used to record images of your programme. A CD containing photos of all activities will be given to the group leader. Further copies can be purchased from the onsite shop.

Prices: For a 5 day course £265. For a 3 day, 2 night course £160. For a weekend course (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon £135.
