These Longtown Outdoor Education Centre courses are open courses, available to all young people between the ages of 11 and 18.

The fully equipped residential centre (approximately 20 miles from Hereford) has excellent on-site facilities set in 15 acres of private grounds and is located between the eastern edge of the Black Mountains and the River Monnow. Within the grounds there is a canoe training pool, an abseil tower, a zip wire, a ropes course, climbing walls, navigation courses and problem solving exercises.

The Brecon Beacons, the Wye Valley, the Forest of Dean and South Wales are within easy reach.

There is a qualified and experienced staff team and we offer challenging but safe outdoor and adventurous activities.

The centre is fully licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing

A wide range of activity options are available. These include:
Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Caving, Canoeing, Ropes Course,
Orienteering, Mountain and Forest Walks, Swimming, Zip Wire, Challenge Wall, Camping, Navigation, Bivouacs

Longtown has added a computer suite to the available facilities. You can now capture all your activities on the Centre's digital camera to produce a pictorial record of your visit on a CD to take away with you.
