Throughout the year, Staylittle Outdoor Education Centre is able to offer comfortable, self catered accommodation. Situated in the quiet Mid-Wales countryside close to Llanidloes, it offers an escape from the high tourist areas of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, but still enables access to a variety of venues for the outdoors enthusiast.

If your interest lies in white water canoeing or kayaking then the centre is in an ideal location at the heart of Welsh White Water. The River Severn is only 15 minutes away and the River Wye 25 minutes.

For mountain bikers, there are ample trails to ride. Especially, from the town of Machynlleth which lies 12 miles north of Staylittle.

Finally, for the walkers and ramblers, the Plynlimon and Cambrian Mountains are on the doorstep, offering a rarely touched wilderness that lacks the worn in footpaths found in the National Parks of England and Wales.

The accommodation itself is a spacious, modern building that sleeps up to 46 in bedrooms of between 2 and 6 people. There is also a comfortable lounge area with a log fire, drying room, activity room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

In addition, if you feel during your stay that you would like to try an activity with an instructor, we can deliver a variety of sessions.
