Description:
This two year foundation degree, run in conjunction with the University of Bolton, gives you the opportunity to develop your practical leadership and instructional techniques in the context of Adventure Recreation.
Course Content
Adventure Recreation is one of the fastest growing sectors of employment at the moment – perhaps because many of us feel the need to experience adventurous activities for a variety of reasons. The use of adventure as a means of personal, social and group development is becoming even more widely used as society seeks to address issues in communities.
You will be provided with structured training opportunities to experience a variety of outdoor pursuits and will focus on your personal skills development in year one, developing your group and advanced technical skills in year two.
