Ardeche Guides Ltd are a small independent company specialising in outdoor activity holidays for families or groups. All our holidays and activities are specifically arranged around the clients’ requirements to ensure an individual and exciting holiday.

We are based in a small hamlet near the town of Burzet, which is in the Ardeche region of the 'Massif Central' in France; an outdoor adventure playground with everything on our doorstep.

WE employ UK instructors with a number of years experience in the outdoor industry, who will ensure your time with us will be enjoyable and safe.

Canyoning, caving, climbing, abseiling, canoeing, kayaking, Via Ferrata and hill walking.

Accommodation
We can offer various types of accommodation within the local area. These vary from campsite, local gite, apartments or hotels.
We can also provide packed lunches and evening meals if required.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Open canoeing
Originating in Canada the open canoe is ideal for a more mellow approach to river running and is in fact becoming the ideal craft to tour the many waterways of the world. Like kayaking our guides will give you all the skills necessary to successfully negotiate the rivers of the Massif Central.

Kayaking
The closed cockpit kayak is one of the most popular outdoor activities in recent years. Our guides are available for river running trips on white water and will coach and refine the techniques needed to negotiate the river.
