Tuesday 9th May 2000 - Kangchenjunga Base Camp
This morning John Doyle's team moved up to Camp 2 to meet up with the Sherpas who have been to Camp 4 today. Larry Foden and Roddy McArthur returned to Base Camp, after completing their carries up to Camp 3 and indeed going beyond to recce the route up to Camp 4.
Camp 4 is now established well enough to support a summit bid and both John's team and the Sherpas are going well. As a result they will move up together to Camp 3 tomorrow, to Camp 4 on Thursday and will make a summit bid on Friday.
Andy Hughes team will move up to Camp 1 tomorrow to be a day behind the summit team to support them on their descent if necessary and to be prepared to make a second summit bid.
