Description:
Freelance DofE Instructors

Do you have one of the following qualifications?

Lowland Leader
Hill and Moorland Leader
Mountain Leader
Basic Expedition Leader
Countryside Leader
Walking Group Leader

Activ Adventures want to hear from you! We are currently booking staff for our 2019 Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Season, so whether you've got DofE experience or are new to it, apply now to secure work dates in the upcoming season (January to October).

You'll need to have an enhanced DBS certificate, Outdoor First Aid certificate, and the right to work in the UK (though you can get these sorted after interview and before starting work).

One of the unique features to our setup is the way in which our participants and staff travel to expedition areas. Our instructors meet at a local train station to our client schools (where they meet the participants) and travel on the train to the expedition areas. One of the benefits of this is it frees our instructors to be out on foot in the countryside without needing to stay close to a vehicle. We cover the expense of the return rail travel from the meet point to the expedition area for all our staff.

For further details take a look at our Expedition Leader job description (under 'work for us') on our website - activadventures.com - to see our pay scale and other relevant details.
