Description: Camp Site Co-ordinator / Shop Manager
Blackwell Adventure is an Outdoor Activity Provider based in Worcestershire. Our Manor House, Tented Villages and Camp Sites are set in 100 acres of country estate over 2 sites and has a host of land and water based activities.
The role of Camp Site Co-ordinator / Shop Manager is essential in the smooth running of the Centre. This is a combined role where part of the time you will be working on and looking after the site and part of the time managing the shop, ordering stock and organising staffing.
Ensure the effective operation of facilities at Blackwell and Pikes Pool.
Play a full role within the senior staff team assisting in the management of the centre.
Responsible for the administration and budgetary paperwork.
Responsible for the running of the shop and oversee staffing.
Assisting in maintaining the site areas from toilets / showers to centre accommodation.
Assisting on activities as and when needed.
Having a pro-active attitude to cleanliness on centre and the willingness to get your hands dirty.
Knowledge of Scouts / Guides and ethos would be beneficial.
IT Literate and Excel Competent
Retail knowledge desirable

Previous campsite experience an advantage

This is a varied role with working on the campsite, completing administration, managing staff who work on the centre as well as managing the shop. There will be weekend working involved with this role as well as being on call and staying at the centre when needed.
Accommodation can be provided free of charge on the centre if needed.
