Instructor of Outdoor Education (Full Time)

Dynamic and motivated individuals with a passion for working in the outdoors are required.

To start on – immediately or ideally by 9th April 2018 at the latest.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals (with a good sense of humour) to join our team and work with people of all ages, predominantly Year 4, 5 and 6 schoolchildren.

Our main purpose is to provide experiences focusing on personal development and life skills using a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities. Most of our clients are based residentially at the Centre for week and weekend visits.

We also have many non-resident visitors which includes some participating in Team Building programmes and NGB courses.

Note: Accommodation is not provided.

Essential qualifications:
UKCC Level 1 Paddlesport Coach or BCU Level 2 Kayak and Canoe Coach
MLTUK Single Pitch Award
Current First Aid qualification
In addition it is desirable but not essential to have:
Full clean driving licence (preferably with D1/D1E entitlement)
RYA Dinghy Instructor (Coastal)
APIOL equivalent
