We are looking for applicants who are well organised, efficient, flexible and who are able to work well as part of a dynamic team delivering safe, high quality outdoor adventure activity sessions for children, young people and adult groups and to assist in the delivery of an annual programme of courses and sessions at Clifton College Outdoor Activity Centre on an ad-hoc, sessional basis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work well as part of a team, calmly, with energy and a sense of humour. Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure are essential. Individuals should have knowledge and experience of leading outdoor activities in a professional context either in a specific discipline or as a multi activity Instructor.
The majority of activity sessions take place out in the open at Clifton College Outdoor Activity Centre, Abbots Leigh Sports Ground, Abbots Leigh, Bristol. Principal activities include Archery / Bushcraft / Forest School / Mountain Biking / Problem Solving / Low Ropes / Orienteering / Indoor Pool Kayaking.
