Description:
Tayside Mountain Rescue Team cover the whole of Tayside region in Central Scotland which includes many Munros, gorges, climbing areas as well as moorland.

Prospective members need to be resident in the Tayside area and be experienced mountaineeers who can navigate and look after themselves in all weather conditions summer and winter.

Assessment days are arranged in April and October each year. All members are volunteers receving no financial rewards other than contribution to bona fide travel
