DEVELOPMENT TUTOR (SCALE 2) – 1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Fairbridge is a national youth charity that employs 250 staff in 15 teams and 2 offices across the UK (from Dundee to Southampton, Swansea to Kent)

Thousands of young people have given up hope. Outside education, training and employment, they see no future for themselves. We help them to think differently. Using a unique combination of long-term personal support and challenging activities such as canoeing, climbing, sports, the arts and hill walking, we enable young people to build the self-belief, and develop the personal and social skills they need to change their lives.

As a Development Tutor with Fairbridge in Kent you will plan and deliver a range of sessions and courses (including residential) to young people. With skills in outdoor education, sports or the arts and relevant work experience, you will have at least one, if not more of the following qualifications:

SPA
ML Summer
MIA
Level 2 Canoe Coach
Local Cave Leader
Mountain/BASP First Aid Cert
Sports Coaching Qualifications.
Coaching/delivery in the arts
