Description:
World Challenge design and deliver exciting adventure educational programmes for school groups.

We are now seeking 3 enthusiastic Centre Assistants / Trainee Instructors to be based at our Leadership and Development Centre in Buxton, Derbyshire.

You’ll be responsible for the provision and maintenance of equipment in our busy outdoor centre; and shadow and assist on activities and expeditions with an experienced, professional team of instructors.

You’ll be an active, outdoor enthusiast with an understanding of how adventure activities fits in to education provision. A team player, you’ll be flexible, share our passion for outdoor education and be keen for the opportunity to progress in the outdoor industry.

For vehicle insurance purposes you should be at least 21 years of age and have held a full, clean driving licence for a year.

The arrangement of working hours offers ample opportunities to develop skills and gain experience with the aim of obtaining NGB qualifications (Summer ML, SPA, L2 Kayak/Canoe coach awards), a 1st Aid Award and an opportunity to be part of a overseas expedition.

Candidates will undergo CRB clearance.
