BSES Expeditions is planning to develop Regional Marketing teams (RMTs) in order to decentralise some of its YE recruitment process. The academic year 2008/09 will be the first year of a three year expansion plan, with the creation of three Regional Marketing Teams (RMTs), and an additional three to five in each subsequent year.

The primary aim of the RC role is to develop relationships and long-term links with schools and other youth organisations to ensure a regular and ongoing stream of high-calibre applicants for BSES' expeditions. This will be done by providing promotional talks and presentations to potential participants, head-teachers and other teaching staff, parents and youth group or activity leaders.
