Fairbridge is a national youth charity that employs 250 staff in 15 teams and 2 offices across the UK (from Dundee to Southampton, Swansea to Kent)

Thousands of young people have given up hope. Outside education, training and employment, they see no future for themselves. We help them to think differently. Using a unique combination of long-term personal support and challenging activities such as canoeing, climbing, mountain biking hill walking and creative activities we enable young people to build the self-belief, and develop the personal and social skills they need to change their lives.

As a Development Tutor with Fairbridge in Kent you will plan, deliver and administer a range of sessions and courses (including residential) to young people. With skills in outdoor education and proven work experience, you will have at least 3, if not more of the following qualifications:

SPA
ML Summer
Trail Cycle Leader (or equivalent)
Level 2 Canoe Coach
Mountain/BASP First Aid Cert

You will also have a full clean driving licence, ideally with D1 + E enabling you to drive minibuses with a trailer. Your ability to inspire and relate to our challenging client group is key.
