Assistant and Trainee Instructors
Location: Devon
Salary and Benefits Competitive + accommodation
Date Posted: 22/1/2008

Description:
Assistant and Trainee Dinghy Instructors required for our 2008 season up until end of October - possibly longer for right candidates - various long and short contracts available. Live and work onboard our ship, permanently moored in the stunning Salcombe Estuary. Our floating base provides the perfect setting for our sailing school and multi-activity centre - no wonder we were chosen by the RYA as a venue for their training videos. The Assistant or Trainee's role involves helping to deliver the highest quality instruction through structured sailing and multi-activity courses.

Throughout the season, you will gain valuable experience to enhance your existing skills, leading to an RYA Assistant Instructor or Dinghy Instructor qualification as well as RYA Powerboat Level 2 and experience of additional outdoor activities.

Working in such a unique environment, with the years of experience the ICC has to offer, is a rewarding, challenging and above all fun role - many of our Assistants and Trainees come back to work a full season as a qualified Instructor and go on to a career in the outdoors.

Applicants must be UK/EU citizens or hold a valid UK work permit.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a CRB check.

QUALIFICATIONS
Some personal sailing experience, other experience in Windsurfing or Canoeing an advantage
